- Philly is about to close out a win at Giants Stadium thanks to a 100+ yard/2 TD day from Brian Westbrook and good protection for Donovan McNabb at all times. The Iggles pass rush has looked like the Giants pass rush today. 20-7, Eagles….it’s now 20-14, Eagles, after Eli throws a TD pass to a receiver I’ve never heard of after several Philly penalties only prove that the prevent defense is worthless crap. Onside kick approaching, for sure….and Philly gets the win.
- High scoring fun in N’Awlins, as the Saints just scored another touchdown to make it 29-25 over the Falcons. Matt Ryan has one TD throwing, and on the previous drive, rushed in for a score and hit the 2-point conversion. The Ice is leading another drive with 4:30 left to go….and the Saints have the ball back now at the 2-minute warning.
- Cincy still sucks. Colts continue their march to a Wild Card spot and a possible 9-game winning streak by owning the Bungles 35-3.
- The Vikings have lost Jared Allen on a cheap shot chop block by Gosder Cherilous and Gus Frerotte to another injury. Tarvaris Jackson threw a TD pass to Visanthe Shiancoe and Chester Taylor has also hit paydirt. But it is 17-16, Minny over Detroit right now, as Daunte Culpepper has not looked horrible, throwing a TD pass to Calvin Johnson. Vikes have the ball with under two minutes to go…and it’s now 20-16 with a Longwell FG.
- The Texans and Packers are matching each other stride for stride right now. It’s 21 all and Aaron Rodgers is trying to push for the go-ahead score at home with 4:30 to go. He and Matt Schaub have both thrown 2 TDs apiece.
- Chicago is making Jacksonville look pathetic. Kyle Orton has thrown for two TDs, add 3 Robbie Gould field goals, and the Bears are up 23-10.
- Tennessee is coasting to an easy win over the Ken Dorsey-led Browns, 28-9. Two TD passes for Kerry Collins, 136 rush yards and a score for Chris Johnson, and 80 yards and a score for Body By LenDale.
