NHL Network spent some time putting together a time lapse video of the ice being brought into Wrigley, and I have to say it’s pretty badass. Workers braved the elements, worked night and day, and because of it there will be outdoor Hockey in Chicago on New Years Day….
I’ve honestly been getting back into Hockey lately, but they really need to pick a different day for this “Winter Classic”. Even though most of the matchups are pretty lame, it’s still going to be tough to beat out New Years Day Bowl Games.
