Earlier tonight, MSG’s Al Trautwig made a Freudian slip by calling Amare Stoudemire’s bulging disc a “bulging dick.” Incredibly, not even hours later, Jonathan Coachman of ESPN2’s NBA Coast to Coast did Al one better. After the Knicks highlight, he talked about Amare’s bulging “dicks.” That’s right. Dicks! Plural! I can imagine one being difficult enough to deal with… but two? That’s just historic. How many sportscasters around the country are now living in fear of anybody they cover suffering from a bulging disc? It makes a bruised coccyx seem relatively tame in comparison…
