Things got a little weird during halftime of the Pac 12 Championship Game.  With Dr. Pepper's monopoly over Championship Weekend, many games featured a halftime tuition contest with students throwing footballs in giant, oversized cans of Dr. Pepper.  In the Pac 12, Josiah Borden was the winner.  And while his acceptance speech was Ricky Stanzi levels of inspiration, all anyone could talk about was ESPN's Neil Everett.  The SportsCenter anchor asked if Borden wanted to bathe in Dr. Pepper and then namedropped Brad Nessler during the interview.

It had everyone on Twitter wondering if Everett had gotten into grandpa's secret stash of "Dr. Pepper" at some point during the evening.

If you were the coach of Ole Miss, how would you have responded to Johnny Long’s celebration?

Vote below
  • I would address it with the umpire to ensure fairness.
  • I would ignore the celebration and focus on motivating my team.
  • I would lodge a formal complaint after the game.
  • I would use it as a motivator to rally my team.
