We've already covered the agony of defeat side of things after this year's World Series, but what about the thrill of victory?  Thanks to WHDH in Boston for checking the perfunctory Local TV Interview With Drunken Fan off the World Series agenda.  Of course there's swearing and a polite "hey, you're not supposed to do that" even though nobody really cares anyways.  The highlight though is this Red Sox fan clarifying for all of us that he wasn't alive in 1918 when the Sawx last clinched in Boston.  Glad we got that straight.

Also: "I've been alive since probably 1988 and I haven't seen them win a Game 6 since now!"

If you were the coach of Ole Miss, how would you have responded to Johnny Long’s celebration?

Vote below
  • I would address it with the umpire to ensure fairness.
  • I would ignore the celebration and focus on motivating my team.
  • I would lodge a formal complaint after the game.
  • I would use it as a motivator to rally my team.
