Brandon Paul hits this shot at the buzzer to send Illinois into the Big Ten quarterfinals and defeat Minnesota 51-49 and Gus into his trademark histrionics with a great call. ("WELCOME TO THE BIG TEN!") Gus Johnson has been in Europe the past month launching his career as a soccer announcer, and I admire his boldness in going on a completely new and challenging journey (although he admits he misses calling the NCAA Tournament)… but this is where his true calling lies.
