ESPN has appointed two new Editors-in-Chiefs for their digital and print properties. Chad Millman is the new Editor-in-Chief of both ESPN The Magazine and and ESPN.com and Alison Overholt will be the new Editor-in-Chief of espnW.

Patrick Stiegman, ESPN's Vice President & Editorial Director of Digital & Print Media commented on the appointments, saying:

"I’m confident that these appointments will continue our momentum to carry out our mission to serve sports fans, embrace new technologies and elevate our incredible content portfolio across an unparalleled work force."

Millman is no stranger to ESPN. He has served in a number of editing roles after joining the company back in 1998. His career started as a reporter for Sports Illustrated and as a correspondent for CNNSI. Overholt is also pretty familiar with ESPN, serving in senior editor positions with ESPN the Magazine and as a deputy editor of ESPN Publishing.

Will these new appointments change the look and feel of the content on ESPN.con and espnW? Probably not, but they're noteworthy changes to the hierarchy.
