Reigning Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston is apparently in trouble for swiping some crab legs from Publix according to Tomahawk Nation. Perhaps he took the NCAA’s edict to allow for unlimited food and snacks a bit too literally.
Surely the case will be cracked open in the days and weeks ahead as Winston is thrown into hot water once again. I guess you could say Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher will be a little crabby that his star quarterback is drawing negative headlines towards the program. It’ll be interesting what kind of legal legs this case has to stand on.
As you can already tell, the guiltiest of all guilty pleasures is a bad pun when absurd news like this breaks. The collection of Nantzian puns that emerged from amateur comedians on social media regarding Jameis Winston was extraordinary. Instead of laying down the claw, let’s be a little shellfish and embrace these bad puns as a part of who we are. As always, these are Real Tweets from Real People…

I have to question Winston's pocket presence after getting caught stuffing crab legs in them.

Oh, and because I don’t want to place myself above making embarrassing seafood puns in public, here’s my effort that will surely shame my friends and family. The Atlantic claims that Twitter is dead and somebody killed it. To that all I can say is, I’m sorry:
Yet he who has never been tempted to steal crab legs cast the first stonefish.
