The Onion is not real news. The Onion is purely satire. Most everyone online knows that.
However, there are some people that don’t know that. There’s a fantastic Tumblr called Literally Unbelievable that lampoons some of those people. Unfortunately, one of those people is former five-time NBA Champion Ron Harper, who took this articles from Onion Sports a little too seriously.

Oh…that is unfortunate. But that’s what makes satire great – you could totally imagine some of it actually happening. Couldn’t you see Ron Harper checking out at the grocery store, striking up a conversation with his cashier, and casually mentioning that he was on the Dream Team?
