Fox broadcaster Tim Brando is a proud resident of Shreveport, Louisiana. Shreveport is the home of the Duck Commander Independence Bowl (boy, is that a mouthful), which will pit South Carolina against Miami on December 27th.
Apparently during the Paul Finebaum Show on Friday, one of Finebaum’s producers took some shots at the town. Brando was not pleased, and went on the warpath. It seems that the Shreveport bashing came about because of the simple fact that South Carolina was having issues selling tickets to the bowl.
And…boom goes the dynamite.
Gutless Paul! Wanna talk you have my number!

I'll defend my hometown until my dying days. @finebaum made a horrible error allowing his rookie Producer to take him down a horrible slope!

Moral of the story – if you’re a national radio host, don’t rip on Shreveport, because Tim Brando is out there listening and will come for you with the fire of a thousand suns.
