With the Golden State Warriors going for their 24th straight victory to open the 2015-16 season, more and more fans want to watch their games. Imagine you’re a DirecTV subscriber in the Bay Area and you turn on Channel 696 for Comcast SportsNet Bay Area and you get this:
Such bullshit, direct tv has csn bay area out. Can't watch the warriors game tonight. pic.twitter.com/86x1hQKmjr

Yup, as the game was in the first half, the picture went out and fans were not able to watch and they made their feelings known on Twitter:
CSN really not working!? Some bs man I'm trying to watch some Warriors

Now no picture or sound at all CSN Warriors-Celtics. Have to rely on KNBR and the great Tim Roye

But finally, it came back:
Warriors-Celtics back on CSN Bay Area (via Direct TV) From a blank screen, to a frozen screen to offcials debating a call

While the HD channel was out, people could watch the game on the old-fashioned fuzzy standard definition feed which DirecTV pointed out to those who complained directly to its Twitter account:
@SandeepG2015 We're sorry. We're working to fix the issue w/ the HD fee. The SD feed works. Visit https://t.co/p9Mzhagmz7 for more info.

@CactusJackOner The HD feed for the warriors should now be restored, Apologies for the inconveniences.
— DIRECTV Help (@DIRECTVhelp) December 12, 2015
A major problem for viewers who turned on their televisions and expected the game to be there, but didn’t. Luckily, the problem seems to be resolved, but for about an hour, fans had to either resort to the radio or watch the standard definition feed. No official word from DirecTV on what happened to the HD feed.
