With the sports world obsessing over Johnny Manziel, the fifth season of Jon Gruden’s “QB Camp” aired entirely on ESPN last spring. And although Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston bring high sports Q ratings to the table, that isn’t enough for the Worldwide Leader to keep “QB Camp” on the main network.

Although re-runs will air across multiple ESPN networks, the sixth season premiere will air Tuesday, April 7 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2.

They’re also toning things down this year. After the annual draft rite of passage featured nine quarterback prospects in 2014, it’ll star only five this spring.

Jameis Winston, Florida State
Marcus Mariota, Oregon
Bryce Petty, Baylor
Brett Hundley, UCLA
Garrett Grayson, Colorado State

It does seem as though there’s a clear gap between those five guys and quarterbacks like Sean Mannion from Oregon State, Brandon Bridge from South Alabama, Cody Fajardo from Nevada and Bryan Bennett from Southeastern Louisiana, but they made room for Tajh Boyd and Jordan Lynch last year and there’s so much interest in even the bowels of the draft that you’d expect ESPN to milk that for as much as possible.

For the second year in a row, the episodes will be shot at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.
