St. Louis is understandably bitter about the way the Rams franchise left for Los Angeles. Los Angeles, meanwhile, is full of Los Angeles sports fans. When the Rams played their first game since returning to the once-again home of L.A., both fanbases did what you’d expect them to do.

Over in St. Louis, things were even more grim. The KTVI telecast drew a scant 6.8 percent of local homes with a television. That’s the lowest of any of the four NFL games televised in the market that day, including the game between the Colts and Broncos (7.6) that was broadcast at roughly the same time.
It’s also less than the number of homes who tuned in to watch the St. Louis Cardinals take on the San Francisco Giants (7.5), which was broadcast on cable on Fox Sports Midwest.
The message from St. Louis fans is clear. ‘Good riddance, Rams.’
The message from Los Angeles fans is also fairly clear. ‘Wait, the Rams are back? Are they really good? No? Then who cares?’
