We all know Darren Rovell, the ESPN Sports Business Reporter who recently signed a new contract to stay with the Disney Family, well.

Rovell is big on Twitter. He has tweeted over 112,000 times and the majority of those tweets are about teams or players and their #brand.

However, Rovell is also making his mark on Twitter for something else these days – the worst puns in the world. After Katie Ledecky blew away the field and crushed the world record in the Summer Olympics’ 400m freestyle on Sunday, Rovell’s bad pun machine struck again.

Trying to merge Ledecky’s last name with famed horse Secretariat was a pretty major reach and we’re not quite sure why Rovell would want to compare a female swimmer to a horse in the first place. So with that in mind, let’s look back on some of Rovell’s worst Twitter puns over the last couple years.

This next one was so confusing, Fox Sports’ Katie Nolan, a constant challenger on Rovell’s horrible puns, helped us out.

Even Rovell is a fan of Beyonce!

At least Rovell also realizes how good Jordan Spieth is. Wait…

The great @PFTCommenter responds to Rovell often and his response to Rovell’s horrendous “ENDAGERED SPIETHIES” tweet was great.

Rovell doesn’t take the NCAA Tournament off. After Texas A&M made a massive late comeback to defeat Northern Iowa, Rovell offered this up.

It’s just too easy.

But Rovell doesn’t just #sticktosports either. He’s one of many sports figures to get in on the election cycle.

Okay now #sticktosports.

This next one, I just don’t get how someone comes up with this and thinks to tweet it.

That was the only time I wish San Diego was the Madres instead of the Padres.

This next one is an old one everyone has heard before.

And the great @Lana didn’t let him get away with it.

Even supermodel Chrissy Teigen responds every now and then to Rovell’s awful jokes and puns.

Yes, it was a horrible dad joke.

You know how Colin Cowherd has that odd obsession with John Wall? It seems like Rovell has a similar weird obsession with making bad puns out of Andrew Luck’s name.

It doesn’t make sense. These are bad and should not exist.

Just look at these things. How does someone do this to our twitter feeds?

Let’s go back to Katie Nolan’s always great responses to Rovell now. She’s just always right there to keep him in line.

To wrap it up, all these tweets make people wish Rovell would just go ahead and delete his account, but not so fast. Nolan tried to get Rovell to do that and it didn’t go over so well.

Maybe from now on we should call him Darren NOvell.
