In this day and age where manufacturing news is now the norm, comes an interesting feud between ESPN2’s His & Hers show and Houston Rockets point guard Patrick Beverley. Now NBA fans know that Beverley is one to never back down from a fight even if it involves the one and only Steph Curry.
Well, Beverley decided to set his sights on His & Hers and naturally, he expressed his opinion on Wednesday after watching the show:

One of the show’s co-hosts, Jemele Hill, decided to respond in kind noting that the Rockets are out of the NBA Playoffs thanks to their first round elimination at the hands of said Curry and the Golden State Warriors:
Well since you have some free time, feel free to come to Bristol and show us how we can do our job better https://t.co/t3c8BHweZ7
— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) May 11, 2016
As stated above, Beverley is not one to back down from a fight, so he took up Hill’s challenge and raised the stakes:
@jemelehill Let me know the time and date and I'm there. In the meantime you put on a rockets jersey and do my job. Since we switching jobs.
— Patrick Beverley (@patbev21) May 11, 2016
That caused the other co-host, Michael Smith to get involved:
#pullup https://t.co/2sgkEviMTa
— Michael Smith (@michaelsmith) May 11, 2016
So Beverley set his sights on Smith:
@michaelsmith all talk. Perception is reality. But instead, you choose to make the perception worse and your happy with that.
— Patrick Beverley (@patbev21) May 11, 2016
@michaelsmith be happy doing a job that is positive. Bashing people to get ratings up. Smh. Stand for nothing and you will fall for anything
— Patrick Beverley (@patbev21) May 11, 2016
That set off Smith for this particular rant:
@patbev21 and you judge a tree by its fruit. my body of work and personal/professional rep speak for themselves. If you're so inclined you
— Michael Smith (@michaelsmith) May 11, 2016
@patbev21 should better familiarize yourself with my commentary and once upon a time my reporting to find out what I'm about. Like my cohost
— Michael Smith (@michaelsmith) May 11, 2016
@patbev21 said you're invited to come on and speak your mind or correct whatever misconceptions we have. And no this isn't a ratings grab.
— Michael Smith (@michaelsmith) May 11, 2016
@patbev21 truth is we don't need the help. More than enough people like what we do. But hey man, we respect your grind and your story. Peace
— Michael Smith (@michaelsmith) May 11, 2016
Then Hill put down the gauntlet and invited Beverley to appear on His & Hers:
Week of May 23rd. Bring the round, leather object so I finally know what a basketball feels like. https://t.co/mGZvhDQKe5
— Jemele Hill (@jemelehill) May 11, 2016
And Beverley naturally accepted:
@jemelehill I'm there. Thanks for the invite. Can't wait
— Patrick Beverley (@patbev21) May 11, 2016
So it appears His & Hers will have a guest in Patrick Beverley in about two weeks. After he threw down his Twitter challenge, Hill accepted and then Smith interjected. Will it raise the ratings? Who knows, but it certainly will give the show a little buzz especially if Beverley does indeed appear during the week of May 23.
