The entire Notre Dame team joined Zach Auguste’s interview with Allie LaForce of CBS after the Irish’s dramatic victory over one of everybody’s NCAA Tournament cinderella favorites Stephen F. Austin.
Of course with tons of players around who are geeked after just having won such a dramatic NCAA Tournament game, somebody is bound to act up. That’s exactly what Notre Dame’s Matt Farrell did.
Farrell jokingly started staring at LaForce fiercely as she interviewed Auguste. It was pretty creepy.
LaForce, who either did not see Farrell or simply kept her cool under awkward circumstances, finished conducting the interview with Auguste, not missing a step.
With the win, the Irish are set to take on Wisconsin Friday in Philadelphia, after the Badgers had their own late game heroics, thanks to a Bronson Koenig buzzer-beating three pointer.
