An upcoming Prime Video documentary on Roger Federer now has a release date.
The documentary, Federer: Twelve Final Days, documentary features a behind-the-scenes look at the tennis legend’s last days as a pro before his retirement in 2022. It started originally as home video footage not intended for public release, but has now been turned into a feature film. And it promises to provide a candid look at Federer, while including interviews with stars and friends such as Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray and more.
The Amazon documentary, which was initially announced in February, is directed by Academy Award-winning director Asif Kapadia. It will premiere June 20 on Prime Video, following screenings at the Tribeca Film Festival beginning June 10. Here’s a recent trailer for it:
