Snoop Dogg took in a Milwaukee Brewers game Saturday at American Family Field, and he had a great seat.
In the Bally Sports Wisconsin Brewers TV booth.
The rapper and actor was in the neighborhood for a Saturday night show at the Potawatomi Casino Hotel, and stopped by for a visit with the Brewers broadcast team.
Dogg is an entertainer, and his visit definitely entertained.
After Cincinnati Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz went deep in the hole and fired a strike to first for the out, Dogg exclaimed: “He’s got a rocket in his pocket.”
Dogg dropped some rhymes, but got stuck trying to come up with one for Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio. The rap icon even briefly handled some play-by-play duty. The Brewers posted a lengthy clip of his colorful appearance on X.
While Saturday’s Brewers appearance was a one-off just for fun, Dogg will be taking on a highly visible sportscasting role this summer, serving as a contributor for NBC’s primetime Olympics coverage. He’ll provide reports from Paris on the athletes and culture.
Fans certainly liked what they heard from the rapper on the Brewers broadcast.
