The iHeart Women’s Sports Network is growing, as University of Connecticut wing Azzi Fudd becomes the latest women’s sports star to get a start in the athlete-hosted podcast game.

Fudd, who will return to Storrs this fall for her fifth NCAA season, will host Fudd Around and Find Out for iHeartMedia. The podcast will be co-produced by Steph Curry’s Unanimous Media.

“This podcast is a space where I can bring my full self—athlete, storyteller, budding entrepreneur, and fan of the game—and highlight the voices that deserve to be heard,” Fudd said in a press release. “Whether we’re talking hoops, culture, business, or life beyond the court, I want every episode to feel real and empowering. This has been a dream in the making,g and I truly can’t wait for the world to… Fudd Around And Find Out.”

The sharpshooter will bring her championship pedigree, NIL experience, and close relationships with Paige Bueckers and others in the women’s basketball space to make her mark on the growing space of women’s sports podcasts.

The iHeart Women’s Sports Network launched a year ago. Its star hosts include Sarah Spain, Cari Champion, Sheryl Swoopes, and Ashlyn Harris.

Beyond iHeart, the space is growing. From A Touch More from Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe to Lisa Leslie’s work with Just Women’s Sports or Vibe Check from ESPN and Disney+, women’s sports fans have more content options than ever.

Many stars from the first generation of NIL in college sports, including Angel Reese, Deja Kelly, and Cameron Brink, have launched podcasts early in their careers.

More details on Fudd Around and Find Out will be released soon.
