With the 11th pick of the NBA Draft, the Portland Trail Blazers selected Washington State’s Cedric Coward. When discussing the pick ESPN’s Malika Andrews seemed to have someone else on her mind.
Shortly after the pick was made, Andrews noted that the Blazers had selected Colin Cowherd.

Naturally, a few jokes were told after this mistake.
“So the Portland Trail Blazers select Colin Cowherd here. This is a young man with the ultimate bet-on-yourself story.” 😭 pic.twitter.com/SwM0SUtc7T

Cowherd himself even got in on the fun.
Apparently, I made a hell of an impact in Portland.

Nothing against Memphis but this would have been epic. pic.twitter.com/Eq3ggkNwfC

As it turned out, Coward (not Cowherd) was part of a later trade to the Memphis Grizzlies.
