Randy Moss is returning to Sunday NFL Countdown, ESPN’s NFL pregame show.
On Saturday night, ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Moss’ NFL Countdown castmate, reported that Sunday’s edition of the show, which will be a pregame show for Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, will feature the return of Moss.
“A huge welcome back,” Schefter said on X. “Hall-of-Fame WR Randy Moss is returning to ESPN’s NFL Countdown, Sunday, 10 am et, live from New Orleans.”
Moss has been away from NFL Countdown since Week 14.
During the Week 13 episode of the show, Moss shared that he was dealing with a health issue and would therefore be wearing sunglasses during the broadcast. That was Moss’ last appearance before his Super Bowl return. Days before Week 14’s NFL Countdown, Moss revealed that he was taking time off, though his castmates made sure to keep him there in spirit. In an Instagram Live post, Moss later announced that he was battling cancer.
While he was not there in person, Moss was part of Thursday night’s NFL Honors ceremony, announcing the NFL Comeback Player of the Year.
