Popular actor Steve Zahn will play one of the lead roles in Chad Powers, the upcoming Hulu comedy series based on the Eli Manning sketch that aired on ESPN+.
Zahn will play the part of Jake Hudson, a college football coach who welcomes Powers, a new quarterback with a shady past (played by Glen Powell).
Manning is the executive producer, joined by Omaha Productions’ Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown and ESPN.
Powell co-created and executive-produced the half-hour comedy show, along with Michael Waldron. Manning, however, inspired the series with his hilarious 2022 sketch. The 15-minute video showed the former New York Giants star quarterback in disguise, going undercover as “Chad Powers” for an audition with the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Zahn has appeared in dozens of film and TV productions, including lead roles in The White Lotus, Reality Bites, You’ve Got Mail and the Diary of a Wimpy Kid franchise,
