The New York Yankees’ game against the Tampa Bay Rays Thursday saw some early fireworks, including the ejection of Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone in the second inning (along with Brett Gardner banging his bat on the clubhouse walls and roof) for arguing balls and strikes with home plate umpire Brennan Miller. And that was a remarkable ejection, because Boone’s entire profane post-ejection rant against Miller was picked up on hot microphones on the YES broadcast.
