Charles Barkley speaks his mind more than anybody in the sports television world. Heck, maybe more than anyone in the television world in general.

TNT viewers were reminded of this during halftime of Thursday night’s Rockets-Lakers game, when Barkley had jokes about the Jussie Smollett situation. Smollett, a 36-year-old actor, was arrested Thursday in Chicago on charges of disorderly conduct for allegedly lying to the cops after claiming to be the victim of a racist and homophobic attack.

Shaquille O’Neal could hardly breathe from laughter as Barkley spoke on the topic.

“Jussie, you wasted all that damn time and money. You know what you should’ve did? Just went up in Liam Neeson’s neighborhood. Could’ve solved all your damn problems.”

That’s one way to go to commercial break.
