After weeks of silence, the Baltimore Ravens have finally addressed the accusations of sexual misconduct against their kicker Justin Tucker.
During his Tuesday morning press conference at the 2025 scouting combine, Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta was asked about Tucker, who has now been accused of inappropriate behavior during massage therapy sessions by more than a dozen women.
“The allegations are serious, concerning. The amount of allegations are serious and concerning,” DeCosta admitted. “I think we’re fortunate that the league is doing an investigation. We’ll wait as patiently as we can for as much information as we can and we’ll make our decisions based on that.”
Last month, The Baltimore Banner published a report alleging Justin Tucker engaged in “inappropriate behavior” at four high-end spas and wellness centers between 2012-16. In the report, six different massage therapists accused Tucker of sexual misconduct that included exposing his genitals, brushing his penis against two of them, and leaving what they believed was ejaculate on the table. Last week, seven more massage therapists accused Tucker of sexually inappropriate conduct.
The NFL quickly issued a statement in response to the initial allegations, noting they were going to look into the matter. And recently, the league began speaking to some of Tucker’s accusers. The Ravens, however, were largely silent on the matter until DeCosta was forced to answer questions about Tucker Tuesday morning, where the general manager reiterated the team’s plans of letting the NFL’s investigation play out.
“I think the biggest thing that we have to do first of all is look at every single case differently. There are no absolutes,” DeCosta said. “And I think in this case, we’re still awaiting as much information as possible. Again, we’re fortunate that the league has come down to Baltimore. I met with the league. I believe the league is meeting with other people in Baltimore as well. We’ll wait for the details of that investigation and we’ll make a decision based on that.”
Without revealing Tucker’s future, DeCosta would, however, confirm the Ravens will be evaluating other kickers, stating their kicking coach Randy Brown will be traveling the country to scout and build their draft board.
The Ravens general manager also noted he has spoken to Justin Tucker personally, but refrained from disclosing any details from that conversation. Tucker has publicly denied the allegations and accused The Baltimore Banner of journalistic failures. It’s possible the Ravens have already made a decision on Tucker’s future, but contractual and legal obligations could still force them to hold onto that decision until a later date.
