Following his latest concussion, NFL commentators are wondering what kind of future Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has — or should have — in the NFL.
With his Dolphins trailing 31-10 to the Buffalo Bills and facing a fourth-and-four late in the third quarter, Tagovailoa scrambled for a first down. While he got the first down, Tagovailoa was hurt on the play after being tackled by Damar Hamlin.
Not long after the play, sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung shared that Tagovailoa had been ruled out. She added that the Dolphins quickly diagnosed the concussion, saying “They were able to determine that just 6 minutes after he left the field.”
Given his history of concussions and the increased awareness of concussions — particularly how harmful multiple concussions can be — NFL commentators speculated on what Tagovailoa in the sport should be.
