Kevin Harvick is practicing NASCAR play-by-play by calling his son racing toy cars

The upcoming all-driver broadcast team for NASCAR’s Xfinity Series Pocono 250 on Fox this Saturday has Kevin Harvick in one of the toughest slots, play-by-play, and Harvick’s getting a little practice with some help from his son Keelan. Via Harvick’s wife DeLana, here’s video of him calling Keelan pushing toy cars around the table:

“Cars are all over the place! There’s a bunch of crazy people driving these cars!” Let’s hope we don’t have to hear that this weekend. This led to some further funny tweets from the Harvicks as well:

So DeLana won’t be calling races any time soon, on TV anyways. Kevin’s certainly preparing himself for his new gig, though, and it will be interesting to see how it goes. Hopefully that race will involve a few less “crazy people” and “cars all over the place.”
