Bobby Stroupe, trainer to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, heard what Kansas City radio host Kevin Kietzman said about Mahomes’ physique. And he wasn’t happy.

Seeing photos of Mahomes on social media, Kietzman bluntly called the quarterback “an embarrassment” while noting “Your belly would be fat at my pool, hanging out with us 60-year-olds.”

Stroupe replied to Kietzman on X (formerly Twitter). And while Stroupe’s comments have since been deleted, they were noted by TMZ Sports.

“Send me your location,” Stroupe’s deleted X post said, per TMZ. “You obviously need attention. If you want to see what in shape is — go make it through a practice at Saint Jo or run hurry up offense scrambling back to back to back plays. You don’t have a clue what it takes. It’s not a look, it’s performance.”

Kietzman didn’t back down from his comments. Linking an article by Ryan Gaydos of Fox News on X, noting that he wants the later portion of Mahomes’ career to resemble Tom Brady more than Ben Roethlisberger.

“Here is a fair and accurate assessment of my commentary,” he said. “I don’t want ⁦⁦@PatrickMahomes ⁩to become Ben Roethlisberger who won big as young player and then just got big. I want him to lock in like ⁦@TomBrady ⁩ in his 30’s and chase him down.”
