  • The entire three weeks of the “Little League World Series” on ESPN and ESPN2 from Aug. 7-12, 17-24 and 27 averaged 684,000 viewers, down 24 percent from two years ago, the most recent LLWS that did not air opposite the Olympics. (Aug. 11-16, 19, 21-27 and 30, 2015 on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPNews: average of 896,000 viewers).

  • As part of the U.S. Open tennis series, ESPN2 coverage of the women’s “Connecticut Open” on Aug. 26-27 (124,000 viewers) was up 11 percent from last year (Aug. 27-28, 2016: 112,000 viewers).

    Men’s tennis’ “Winston-Salem Open” on ESPN2 Aug. 26-27 averaged 99,000 viewers, up 28 percent from last year’s tournament (Aug. 27-28, 2016: 77,000 viewers).
