We’ve told you about Hulu’s live streaming service that is expected to launch later this year. Now Hulu is sending out invitations for those who want to take part in a beta test for the live TV service. Cord Cutter News says that fewer than 100 invitations have been sent out, but the version of the app will look very different from the final version that will eventually launch.

If you want an invite, you can go to this site to request one. To participate, you will need an Apple TV (4th gen.), Android TV or iOS device. Cord Cutter News says more devices will be added down the line.

Hulu’s service when it eventually launches will have CBS, Disney (ESPN included), Fox (FS1 and regional sports networks) and Time Warner (TBS, TNT). NBCUniversal has yet to sign up, but that is expected to be just a formality.

The beta program will determine when the Hulu live service will roll out. If you do sign up, just know what you see now will be much different than what will come out at launch time.

If the beta test has a lot of glitches, then Hulu will take longer to smooth out the bugs before the eventual launch. DirecTV Now seems to be experiencing plenty of issues even atter it launched late last year.
