SiriusXM has announced a new 24/7 pro wrestling channel, Pro Wrestling Nation 24/7. SiriusXM

When it comes to pro wrestling, SiriusXM is going all in.

On Thursday, the satellite radio company announced the upcoming launch of its first-ever 24/7 channel dedicated to pro wrestling. The channel titled Pro Wrestling Nation 24/7 will make its debut on July 1 and will be available to find on Channel 156.

The Busted Open radio show will serve as the channel’s flagship program after previously airing on SiriusXM Fight Nation. In addition to the impending launch of the new channel, SiriusXM also announced that it has signed Dave LaGreca to a multiyear extension, with the Busted Open founder continuing his role hosting the program alongside pro wrestling greats Bully Ray, Mark Henry and Tommy Dreamer.

“Pro Wrestling Nation 24/7 is a dream come true,” LaGreca said in a statement. “I couldn’t be more proud of the team that we have assembled on this channel. I promise our loyal fans, ‘The Nation,’ the best coverage of Pro Wrestling in the world!”

Busted Open will air live from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. ET seven days a week, kicking off the channel’s daily coverage, which will feature multiple live shows focused on the pro wrestling industry. That lineup will include the following programs and talents:

  • 12-2 p.m. ET (Monday-Thursday): Notsam Wrestling Live, hosted by Sam Roberts
  • 12-2 p.m. ET (Friday): Cheap Heat, hosted by Peter Rosenberg
  • 2-4 p.m. ET (Monday-Friday): Off the Ropes, hosted by Jonathan Coachman and a rotating cast including Nic Nemeth, Mark Henry, Tommy Dreamer, Thunder Rosa and Tom Pestock.
  • 11 a.m.-12 p.m. ET: The Hart Beat with Natalya, hosted by WWE superstar Natalya.

Daily episodes of Busted Open will replay at 4 p.m. ET each day, while Busted Open After Dark will expand its programming from three nights a week to five. Independent wrestling star Matt Cardona is also advertised to make weekly appearances on the channel in an undefined role.

Considering pro wrestling’s recent resurgence into the mainstream, the idea of a 24/7 pro wrestling channel on satellite radio certainly makes sense. And for those who can’t wait until July 1, you can check out LaGreca’s appearance on the Awful Announcing Podcast from earlier this year.
