Photographer Tim Rasmussen is leaving the Denver Post to take a new job as a photo editor at ESPN. So what did his boss get him as a going away present? A cake with… ummm… the very colorful lettering you see above. Of all the places in the world that you would think would be the first to have a “F— ESPN” cake gain notoriety, the Denver Post? Really? I wonder just how many of those cakes have been circulated at NBC, CBS, Fox, Turner Sports, Yahoo Sports, Sports Illustrated, Sporting News, or any local outlet through the years for a variety of reasons. Hundreds? Thousands? At least the green lettering means it’s still in the St. Patrick’s Day holiday spirit.
