NBA reporter and host Kristen Ledlow is stepping away from Warner Bros. Discovery Sports this season to spend time with her young family, she announced on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.

Ledlow also explained she is currently pregnant with a second child and said “this isn’t goodbye” in the post.

Ledlow has been at NBA TV for about a decade, hosting the rebooted Inside Stuff with retired NBA athlete Grant Hill as well as the Ledlow and Parker podcast with current WNBA star Candace Parker. She also anchored WNBA Weekly on NBA TV among other one-off programs.

Around the same time, Ledlow added NBA sideline reporting to her CV. This past season, Ledlow was the fourth rotating sideline reporter for WBD Sports behind Allie La Force, Chris Haynes and Stephanie Ready.

Prior to joining the WBD Sports (then Turner Sports) team, Ledlow got her start in radio and television in Florida.

The company recently announced its opening-week crews for the NBA. La Force remains the No. 1 sideline reporter with Haynes on the No. 2 team. Jared Greenberg will seemingly slot in in Ledlow’s place.

While WBD Sports’ plans for NBA TV (which it produces) are unclear as the next round of broadcast rights is negotiated, Ledlow is likely to be in-demand when she returns. She is among the more experienced and versatile NBA reporters out there, and will likely be welcomed with media job offers once she feels ready to come back to broadcasting.

Until then, the family life awaits.
