The sports world was all over the news out of Massachusetts yesterday regarding Aaron Hernandez. The Patriots TE was finally arrested early in the morning, then he was released by the team less than an hour later. Finally, in the afternoon it was revealed Hernandez would be charged with murder and not merely obstruction of justice as had been previously conjectured.
NFL stars getting charged with murder is not an every day occurrence and with Hernandez’s name dominating the news, we’re wondering how Jeremy Schaap managed to confuse him with Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers during this report….

Ah, the perils of live television. For his sake, I just hope Felix Hernandez isn’t accidentally implicated next!
UPDATE: This morning on Mike and Mike, Mike Golic also made the Aaron Rodgers slip in the midst of a long question towards Roger Cossack without even realizing he had done it!
