Florida Gulf Coast University has taken the basketball world by storm, and in advance of their Sweet 16 matchup with Florida on Friday evening, a Florida radio host has jumped on the bandwagon by getting a "Dunk City" tattoo.
Jason "Big Mama" Jones of B103.9's "The Wild Bunch" morning show got the tattoo on Tuesday night in Fort Myers, and the hysteria surrounding FGCU caused the radio station's website to go down when they posted a video of Jones getting the tattoo.
Even if FGCU gets their doors blown off by Florida tonight, they'll go down in history as the first ever 15 seed to make the Sweet 16, and Jones will have a reminder of that forever. This is really only a story because of FGCU's "new kid on the block" status, and if they keep winning in future years, I'm sure this will be the first of many Dunk City tattoos you'll be seeing.
