If there's one thing we will NEVER get tired of posting, it's videos where Hawk Harrelson is mad, disappointed, angry, or upset at a baseball-related event. Tuesday evening we join Hawk with the Chicago White Sox just one out away from defeating the New York Mets. Daniel Murphy pops one up to the mound and that should be the ballgame, except for Gordon Beckham who collides with Conor Gillaspie and allows the tieing run to score.
You gotta be bleepin' me.
The great aspect about this particular clip is Hawk's mutterings during the entire next at bat and furious reaction going to commercial after the final out of the inning. It's like he COMPLETELY FORGOT HE WAS ANNOUNCING A BASEBALL GAME!
Thankfully for Hawk's blood pressure, the Chi Sox came back to win 5-4 in the bottom of the 9th. In the meantime, we'll have to figure out whether Beckham's dive into his own teammate's legs actually gives him a boost in TWTW.
