This past weekend at the NFL's Super Bowl festivities, the 2013 Hall of Fame class was announced. NFL Network's Warren Sapp was elected, while Fox's Michael Strahan was (perhaps shockingly) not elected. On Wednesday during an interview with WDAE in Tampa, Sapp had some choice words for Strahan and making the Hall over the "media darling."
“Say if I rewind this to Saturday at 12 o’clock me and you are sitting and I say, ‘It breaks down whatever and whatever and then you have Michael Strahan and me. C’mon, the menace and the media darling,’” Sapp said. “C’mon. Madness, or Good Morning America? I mean, c’mon.”
Not really the most offensive comments in the world, but these two have a history with Strahan once calling Sapp a "jackass." Perhaps that's why the Live with Kelly & Michael co-host responded… on Twitter, like all grown men do.
The two had a brief back and forth about mutual respect that didn't escalate into much else except the two ex-jocks being fake with one another. But honestly, considering who was involved in this… did you really expect Warren Sapp's Hall of Fame induction to go down without some kind of feud developing? I'd be more surprised if Sapp *wasn't* angering anybody on the way to Canton.
