Broadcast booths throw it back to the studio for a preview of the halftime show all the time. That's nothing out of the ordinary. But Fox somehow found a new spin to put on it by having their studio group – host Curt Menefee and analysts Terry Bradshaw, Randy Moss, and Jimmy Johnson – duck underneath a tumbling graphical robot flying over their desk. Thank goodness they ducked or somebody could have been seriously hurt.
This is… one of the weirder things I've ever seen on a sports telecast. Give credit to Curt Menefee, who handled having to duck from Fox's giant cartoon robot, with as much professionalism as possible.
It wouldn't trouble me one bit of Cleatus the Robot went the way of Poochie the Rockin' Dog.
