If you saw College GameDay this morning, you may have noticed Ken Griffey, Jr. was the guest prognosticator during the Saturday Selections segment. He was supposed to be joined by former Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre.

Chris Fowler announced that Favre’s plane had mechanical problems and thus, he could not could not make it to GameDay’s location in Tallahassee, FL. So Griffey went solo and while he didn’t make his appearance as memorable as Katy Perry’s in Mississsippi two weeks ago, we did have Lee Corso hearkening back to his very first headgear pick back in 1993.

If you missed ol’ Brett today, you won’t have very far to go without seeing him. He’s scheduled to appear on NFL GameDay Morning on NFL Network on Sunday.
