We haven’t seen Turner Sports’ Craig Sager since he was diagnosed with leukemia back in April. He’s been recovering and laying low.
His son, Craig, Jr. has made appearances on TNT especially this memorable one with Craig Sr.’s nemesis, San Antonio Spurs coach Greg Popovich.
Well, we got our first glimpse of Craig, Sr. on Friday as he introduced truTV’s coverage of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. Looking thinner and having less hair than we’re used to seeing, Sager gave a short message on the Coaches vs. Cancer organization and asked for people to give donations. It was good to see Craig again even though it was just for 49 seconds.

Hopefully we’ll see Craig back on the NBA later in the season. He’s definitely been missed on the games and nobody can carry loud suits like he can.
