On Sunday night’s episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Oliver sent his sights on FIFA and president Sepp Blatter in advance of the World Cup. The commentary is absolutely spot-on and hilarious, and brings up some amazing comparisons.
So, if fans weren’t aware of how corrupt and disgusting of an organization FIFA was before this, they sure as hell are now. I highly doubt this is going to result in any major changes to the organization, but the more awareness that the American public has over how gross FIFA is, maybe we can make some progress.
