NBC aired both Wild Card games on Saturday, which presented a bit of an awkward situation whenever they went to the booth for a shot of the announcers in front of a green screen. NBC plastered a giant, fancy "Wild Card Saturday" logo behind the announcers, but there was just one issue. The way the announcers sat created a frame for the word "TURD."
And it wasn't just for the night game either, the same thing happened in the afternoon when NBC went to the booth for this shot of Dan Hicks and Mike Mayock for Colts-Chiefs.
Mythbusters was right. You can polish a turd. That graphic is very shiny.
