NFL Ratings, Week 7: Dallas stays hot for Fox

CBS drew a 10.6 rating for the regional window. Oddly, this is the first window that is flip-flopped from last year: Fox had this window, whereas CBS had the doubleheader in 2013. The rating was down 10 percent from last year’s Fox window. There were no season highs, though Cincinnati and Chicago hit season lows.

The early Fox window drew an 8.7 rating, down 18 percent from CBS’ (10.7 ) rating last year. Milwaukee (Green Bay’s home market) hit a season high, while blown out Charlotte, St. Louis, Atlanta and losing Seattle hit season lows. Interesting to see how New Orleans goes with the team out of a playoff spot, as that market’s usually huge for the NFL’s networks.

Another week, another season high for red hot Dallas. Season highs were also found in New York and the Raiders in the Bay Area. The national number was a 17.6, up 15 percent from Ravens-Steelers and Texans-Chiefs for CBS last year. This was the only window up from last year this Sunday.

Peyton’s record-breaking night drew just a 14.8 rating for NBC, as another blowout hurt the Sunday night package. This was down 14 percent from Manning’s return to Indianapolis in this window last year, which drew a 17.3 rating. Denver’s rating was a season high, while the Bay Area — despite the score — drew their second-highest rating of the season.
