Dodger Stadium played host to the NHL on Saturday night by way of the highly anticipated Stadium Series outdoor game between the Los Angeles Kings and the Anaheim Ducks.
And what would a game at Chavez Ravine be without Vin Scully? The legendary baseball broadcaster crossed over to hockey and narrated the opening for NBC.
It was a perfect way to launch the broadcast and set the scene for what would be a historic night in southern California. The Ducks won the game 3-0, but by hearing Vin Scully's voice in January, we all won.
