Former NFL quarterback Brady Quinn seems to have a pretty sweet life. He went to Notre Dame, became a first-round pick, earned a major payday, got married to Olympic beauty Alicia Sacramone and then retired at the age of 29.
Like many other quarterbacks who had shorter careers than the planned, Quinn found a second career in the television industry. Quinn joined the FOX Sports team as an NFL and college football analyst, only to quickly come back to join the Miami Dolphins in August. He was cut only weeks later, and ended up back in the broadcast booth.
Now, Quinn is hoping to make one last go of it, according to Ben Volin of the Boston Globe. He’s reportedly been working out with former QB Jeff Christensen, who has worked with multiple current NFL quarterbacks (oddly, Quinn initially denied that he was working with Christensen on Twitter, then deleted the tweet). At FOX, Quinn worked with Tim Brando on Thursday night college games on FOX Sports 1, along with Fox Sports Live and America’s Pregame. The former Golden Domer played in 24 NFL games (only seeing time with Cleveland and Kansas City) and threw 12 touchdowns against 17 interceptions.
Good luck to Quinn in his attempted comeback, but odds are he will be back in the broadcasting business soon.
