There’s not too many things Vin Scully hasn’t accomplished in his illustrious career as the play by play man for the Los Angeles Dodgers. On Wednesday night he got to cross one of the three remaining things off his bucket list – enter the Guinness Book of World Records.
Scully was officially honored as the longest serving broadcaster with one team.
Scully began his career with the Dodgers in 1950, back when there were 48 states in the union and a gallon of gas was 18 cents. The living legend says he’ll be back in 2016. We all better enjoy it, because there won’t be another one like him ever again.
