Those who watched AEW’s All In event on Saturday didn’t just see a wrestling card. They also saw the return of Jim Ross, arguably the most well-known announcer in the history of pro wrestling.
In May, Ross, who has endured several significant health issues in recent years, announced that he was diagnosed with colon cancer. Later in the month, he announced that his surgery was successful. In June, Ross revealed that he was cancer-free and expressed his hope to return for All In.
On Saturday, that became a reality.
Before the match between Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega, All In’s penultimate match, Ross returned to the announce desk. As expected, he received a tremendous ovation from the fans at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

Jim Ross is old as hell and still the best person at that announce table in being able to add gravity to a match. The commentating team was terrible during Toni/Mercedes.

Jim Ross in on commentary for 2 minutes and he sold Kazuchika Okada like he is the greatest wrestler of all time
