The upstart Charlotte Hornets came away with a 118-108 road victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night, and two plays from the Charlotte victory made Bally Sports Southeast play-by-play man Eric Collins go bonkers.
Collins — who also does college sports play-by-play for Fox Sports — went crazy when second-year star LaMelo Ball threw down a dunk in the third quarter.
“WHOOOOOA! OH A DOUBLE-CLUTCH DIPSY-DOO BOOM!”

And that was just a warm-up for the next big dunk call.
Collins lost his mind when Miles Bridges threw down an alley-oop jam.
“HE’S GOT MILES… OOOOOWWWW! YOWZA! HUM DIDDLY-DEE! THAT WAS INCREDIBLLLLE!”

Collins always makes the games extra entertaining, and there are surely more great calls on the way with this up-and-coming Hornets squad.
