Over the course of the last few years, Josh Pate has emerged as one of the preeminent voices in the college football media ecosystem.

And now, Josh Pate’s College Football Show has a new home, with On3 announcing that it has reached a partnership that will see Pate host the program from its new Yahoo! Sports studio located inside of the On3 headquarters in Nashville.

According to a release, the partnership will include On3 becoming “the exclusive source for transfer portal news and data” that is featured on Pate’s show, while Rivals will serve as the program’s exclusive recruiting partner. On3/Rivals and Yahoo! Sports will also have distribution rights to the show across its platforms, including On3.com and social channels, with the show also remaining available on Pate’s own YouTube page.

“This partnership with Yahoo! Sports is a major step forward for On3 and Rivals,” On3/Rivals CEO Shannon Terry said in a statement. “We’re combining trusted reporting with powerful voices, and massive distribution from Yahoo! Sports to deliver the most comprehensive coverage of college sports in this new era.”

“It’s a real privilege to reunite with Josh Pate,” Terry continued. “I worked with him early in his career and have watched him grow into one of the most impactful voices in college football. His show will be a key part of this partnership and a tremendous resource for fans.”

Added Pate: “Our show thrived as the college football world changed totally over the past decade – and it became clear to me that a partnership with On3 will help us be at the center of it the decade ahead. We have the runway and resources to deliver everything the audience has asked for, and I’m excited to help make it happen.”

The partnership with Pate marks the latest move for On3 in an offseason that’s had plenty of them, including the purchase of Rivals to merge two college football outlets that were both founded by Terry. The acquisition of Rivals also forged a partnership with Yahoo, which it appears Pate will be one of the primary faces of as the 2025 college football season approaches.
