Weather is forcing a change in Saturday’s college football schedule. The Big 12 game between Arizona State and Oklahoma State has been moved up.
The game will now be played at 3:30 p.m. ET (2:30 p.m. in Oklahoma and 12:30 p.m. in Arizona).
Fox Sports PR detailed the move and the changes that come with it on its X (formerly Twitter) page on Friday night.
“Programming Alert: Due to inclement weather forecasted for the area, Saturday’s Arizona State-Oklahoma State football game in Stillwater has been moved to 3:30 PM ET,” the announcement said. “The game, with its new kickoff time, will still air on the FOX broadcast network in Arizona and Oklahoma. The game will also air on FS2 and the FOX Sports App in all markets. The Kansas State-Houston game that is also scheduled for 3:30 PM ET will air on FOX in all markets outside of Arizona and Oklahoma and be available on the FOX Sports App to fans in all markets.”
“The change was agreed upon by both schools and the Big 12 Conference because of weather projections that show thunderstorms around Boone Pickens Stadium from Saturday evening well into Sunday,” OKState.com announced.
The game was originally scheduled to start at 7 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. local time.
Arizona State is going into Saturday’s game with a 5-2 overall record and is 2-2 in conference play. Oklahoma State is 3-5 overall and 0-5 in the conference.
